The subject of pet insurance can seem intimidating, but we are here to help!
Pet insurance helps cover a portion of your pet's medical bills, not unlike other versions of insurance plans:
The majority of plans offer reimbursement after invoices and/or records are submitted by owners or veterinary hospitals.
After filing a claim, if you've met your deductible and the procedure is within the policy's coverage - they will issue a reimbursement check.
Be sure to pay attention to the details and reviews before signing up for a plan! You want to look out for what the deductibles are, co-pays and caps, and their exclusions. When in doubt make sure to contact the insurance representatives directly to ask any clarifying questions.
